ECHO Project, South Africa
Africa Foundation has developed curriculum based Environmental Education lessons for Grades R Grade 9, with teaching manuals and student workbooks. The introduction of digital equipment would mean that these lessons could be brought to life with videos, images, maps and charts projected onto screens.
Transforming the delivery of these lessons would undoubtably transform the engagement level and interest of the students involved, ensuring that learning about conservation and the environment was a highlight of their school week. South Suez donated towards the delivery of digital resources for the Echo environmental education programme in the Greater Kruger region (Mpumalanga).
