On completion, Kurhula Secondary School will be only the second high school in the District to have purpose-built science laboratories which are designed specifically to allow the delivery of practical lessons.

The laboratories will enable the students to fully engage with the science curriculum content and be exposed to science equipment. This supports their academic performance and better prepares them for further education in the science field.
